Buntingford Civic Founder Members of Civic Voice

Buntingford Civic Society has been confirmed as a founder member of Civic Voice

The joining letter outlining the benefits to our members can be seen in our members area.

HOLS ARE OVER (ALMOST) - HAVE A VOICE

There are encouraging signs that the Civic Society movement is progressing to a new national organisation. Over the summer a series of well attended discussions have taken place and the consensus seems to be that at least (a) we need a national organisation, (b) its role to be a major resource on key issues, (c) it will have a voice representing 250,000 members at all levels of government.

The letter on the front page of the Civic Society site has been sent to East Herts District Council by the Civic Society regarding the proposed development of 149 homes adjacent to London Road.

We also have a new entry on the Civic Society Initiative in the members section.
